Cascade House Crewel Wool is spun in their own mill from selected long staple fibres into a 2 ply wool that can be stranded if required.  The fibres have been selected to ensure the strength of the wool but more importantly it's smoothness, lustre and evenness.  It's ideal for combining with other yarns natural or synthetic.

They have increased the colour range from 120 colours, 105 plain dyed and 15 hand painted, to 139 colours adding another 10 hand painted and 9 plain dyed to our range. Look for the ticks on the colour chart.  Cascade House have promised to continue to increase the range to a total of 240 colours.  Cascade House Crewel Wool is a joy to use so soft and full of colour yet superwash and mothproof.
